Cafe Wien Restaurant in Gorxheimertal

We have been there several times and have never been disappointed with what we chose from the menu. Much to our delight, there is a regular theme week with special dishes. Everything, including the vegetarian dishes - if you don't like meat - is cooked excellently. Due to the corona, we find the hygiene regulations with partition walls very well implemented.

Today we redeemed our voucher, which we received from my parents. The two have been there several times and raved about it. We had ordered an original Wiener Schnitzel, a cordon bleu from pork and cheese spaetzle. Since we had ordered To Go, I was concerned that the dishes would suffer from our 25-minute walk home. When I got home, I was convinced otherwise! All dishes were still warm and the breadcrumbs were super crispy! We were absolutely thrilled with the quality and the great taste. Even the salad that was served with the Kässpätzle was still crisp and super fresh despite the drive home. Mhhh. I'm looking forward to being able to feast on site soon and I'm particularly looking forward to trying the apricot dumplings. I'm just regretting that I didn't order a to go :-D This is a restaurant that deserves our support in times like these. Best regards, Elena Sporer

I haven't eaten so delicious in a long time. The evening was a small compensation for the corona-related cancellation of my vacation in Vienna this year and my wife was happy

Very good food, very friendly, cozy beer garden. Very good food, also special theme weeks. We will eat there again.

Super delicious food in the usual quality. The pastries in particular are homemade and so well presented. That's why we like to come back every time. And to be clear ... if a dish takes longer ... then it's freshly made.

Unfortunately, the Austrian waiter in the Café Wien restaurant spoiled our delicious food. Our friendly advice that the racist designation "Mohr in a shirt" has no place in a menu was decidedly rejected by him. Overall, no recommendation, because good food is unfortunately not enough when the staff is obviously unpleasant and narrow-minded.

Great restaurant, fantastic dishes, Viennese service a real original! The longing for Austria has increased!

Good and friendly service, the Wiener Schnitzel were delicious. The dessert was also convincing. We will be back.

Thank you Cafe Wien, Gorxheimertal for NOTHING Am in the process of filing a complaint for failure to provide assistance. Because of my diabetes my wife wanted to buy something to drink from you today because I had slipped into the hypo. You refused to do this even though the pick-up service was open. Of course I would have taken the drink at a suitable distance from me to do the to go justice. Especially in times like today HUMANITY be capitalized. One thing is certain, you lost me as a customer after Corona.

I have mixed feelings concerning this place. On the one hand the food was really tasty and everyone felt satisfied. On the other hand, the service leaves room for improvement. We booked a table for 12 people and we were the only people there, still the man seemed to be upset that there was one person more than we mentioned on the phone. Also, some asked for cappuccino (it was on the menu in the brackets next to the Austrian name of it) which we got to know was not there. Also the whole menu had lots of traditional Austrian meals which as non-Austrian-experts we didn't know what they actually were. The man was not too eager to explain it to us. One of us asked about his recommendation but he didn't really answer, at least not convincingly. When we ordered desserts, the cappuccino discussion started again as one of the guests noticed that it indeed was on the menu. Then the man said that it's called something else in Austrian and that's why he said there was no cappuccino and gave us a lesson about a huge difference between Austrian "cappuccino" and the Italian one and was not too happy to admit that both were coffe with milk and foam on the top. Maybe it's just the way this man's personality is, visibly proud of being Austrian and serving his national cuisine. There's nothing wrong with that, after all, we all decided to go there to try it, but we all felt that in this business communication skills are vital, and he lacked them. Pity, because it gives the overall feeling of not being welcomed despite delicious food.

Nice restaurant with delicious specialties from Austria. Only the question about sauce for schnitzel should be avoided;) Food is very good, the boss is friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit

Everything is just right. A rustic Austrian serves and recommends original Austrian cuisine in his very own, convincing, charming way. We ate through the menu and were completely thrilled. Very tasty, really homemade and of high quality, but we also like to pay the high price. It's just recommended! We will be back!

If you are looking for authentic austrian food, this is the place to go. Calm and peaceful location. ANDREAS is a very good host and knows what to suggest if you are lost in the amazing menu. Overall a very happy evening for the stomach and mind. and don't forget the SACHER TORTE

I was in the said restaurant last night. The landlord was very friendly, explained something to the food without demand on our part. The food was excellent of quality and taste. Absolutely to suggest.

We had a very delicious original Wiener Schnitzel and Zwiebelrostbraten. Each 21.50 euros was for the very large portion in order. Nice I found that we also an Austrian has served, very nice.

By far the best Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu that I have ever eaten - even better than that in Vienna. Thank you for the nice evening today, can only recommend the place!

We were as a family in Gorxheimertal in the gardening to visit. We were welcomed by the waiter. The desserts were consistently delicious. A private parking is available. We will definitely come back ...

We were there now after the move to Gorxheimertal. Great service, the boss always comes by at regular intervals and asks. The food is great, the soups and the salad perfect. Wiener schnitzel and side dish are super flavored and the meat is super tender. Both the plate and the soup bowl are warm, so the food stays warm longer. Finally, there was an espresso, which was also served in a hot cup, perfect. Price are absolutely reasonable for the quality and taste. Great ambience, even in summer to sit outside. It is definitely worth a visit, we often come over.

Excellent authentic Austrian food served by lovely staff at moderate prices. Situated on the beautifully historic Weinheim square. Love it.
